Memberships
Adult membership
With an adult membership, you get 24/7 access to the club by using your electronic key. You will receive your key at the intro course that you need to participate in once you have signed up for the membership.
The intro course is mandatory because it gives you an introduction to the club, safety, climbing techniques and as a bonus, you will definitely meet some new climbing buddies. The intro course is free, and you can sign up right after your membership has been activated.
Price: An adult membership is billed quarterly and costs 600 DKK per quarter. There is also a one-time sign-up fee of 400 DKK which covers the expenses for your key, intro course and administrative costs connected to joining or leaving the club. You can sign up here.
Besides being part of the biggest climbing community in Northern Jutland, your valid membership card which can be found in the Klubmodul app also gives you a 10% discount in selected outdoor shops in downtown Aalborg: Friluftsland, SpejderSport and Eventyrsport.

If you would like to sport climb and use the rope hall, you will need to sign up for a belay course where you’ll learn how to climb lead and belay a lead climber. If you have already completed and passed a belay course in another Danish climbing club, just get in touch with our instructors comittee at mail: instruktoerudvalg@aalborgklatreklub.dk or our club host Malte at mail: info@aalborgklatreklub.dk.
Adult memberships are available from the age of 16.
Child membership
As a child member, your child can climb at the club as long as they are accompanied by at least one of their parents, and the parent is also member. For that reason, child members do not get an electronic key. Additionally, child members can also join the training classes if they are at least 8 years old.
Price: A child membership costs 350 DKK, and just like adult memberships, it is billed quarterly. You can sign up your child here.
Registration for training classes opens in August for the autumn season and in January for the spring season. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and you pay for one season at a time. You can read more about the available childrens and junior classes here.
