
Childrens and juniors
training classes
If your child is a member of Aalborg Klatreklub and over 8 years old, you can sign them up for childrens’ or junior training classes. These classes are for children and juniors aged 8–18. Starting from the autumn season 2025, we’ve made a few changes to how the classes are structured. We now have four teams, split into two age categories: U14 and U18. Each age category has a beginner team and an experienced team. You can read more about the teams further down the page. Generally, beginner teams have one training session per week, while experienced teams have two.
You can enroll your child in Klubmodul.
As mentioned earlier, your child can only join training classes if they’re a member of the club. If your child isn’t a member yet, you’ll need to sign them up and pay the membership fee before enrolling them in a class. Keep in mind that membership and class fees are not billed at the same time or on the same schedule — a membership is billed quarterly (you’ll get an email or SMS before each payment), while classes are paid for one full season at a time. If your child wants to continue next season, remember to enroll again when registration opens. Automatic re-enrollment is not possible.
A season of childrens’ and junior classes runs for half a year, typically from January–June and August–December. Exact dates can be found in the class information. All classes follow Aalborg Municipality’s school holiday schedule, so there’s no training during school holidays or on public holidays.

Wednesdays at 17.00-19.00This team is for those who are completely new to climbing or have only tried climbing a few times, or just want to learn the basics of technique from the start.
